It’s a new year, and I’ve set a new goal for myself. I am going to design one room every day in 2022. Some will just be furniture plans for imaginary spaces, but I hope to go a little more in depth on some days, and maybe even feature some of my real life executed projects along the way. But for now, I’m just diving in and putting some rooms together.

For my first design of 2022, I decided to start with a rug I know has a popular following and then design around it. I’ve seen this room featured in a lot of rooms with light walls and sofas, so I decided to try something a little darker and moodier.
